$iBFR to $BFR token Migration is now LIVE!
After successful voting round, with the majority of the Buffer community voting in support, we are excited to announce that the migration of iBFR tokens from the BNB chain to BFR tokens on Arbitrum is now LIVE!

The migration will begin on 20/09/2022 at 13:30 UTC and transfers could be made from $iBFR (BNB chain) to $BFR (Arbitrum chain) for the next 30 days.
Note:
- To avoid confusion, the new iBFR token after migration will be labeled as a BFR token;
- As a part of the migration process, iBFR holders have the option to change their iBFR tokens to BFR tokens. Existing holders can transition at the ratio of 1 iBFR to 1 BFR. Meaning what you migrate is what you will have after the migration is complete;
- There is no change in the token supply, so there is no risk of dilution for token holders after migration. All vesting contracts will be revoked and redeployed with the same schedule on Arbitrum.
To migrate:
Step 1: Go to the iBFR to BFR migration portal, here: https://app.buffer.finance/BSC/migration
Step 2: Connect your wallet (BNB chain) by clicking on the tab present at the top right-hand corner of the page.
Note: Users who haven’t claimed their tokens from the vesting contract can claim them here: https://app-v0.buffer.finance/vesting ; Once the tokens have been claimed successfully from the vesting contracts, users can continue from step 3 onwards. For unvested tokens, the vesting will continue on Arbitrum on the same wallet address connected to the vesting contract on the BNB chain.
Step 3: Add the amount of iBFR tokens you want to migrate in the “Migrate” tab, or simply click on “MAX” to migrate all of your iBFR tokens at once. You will be able to see the number of $BFR tokens you will receive after migration in the “Recieve” tab according to the 1:1 conversion rate. Then click on the “Transfer” button.
Step 4: Tap the transfer button and confirm the migration transaction on the Metamask pop-up.
All tokens will be kept in the $iBFR original token deployed contract on the Binance Smart Chain until the contracts on Arbitrum are live. BFR token will be transferred to your wallet on the Arbitrum chain within 72 hours. We will be updating the token contract address on the landing page and all our communication channels.
